Knowing where you’re at in the world and where you want to go are two very important skills that kids sometimes aren’t taught. While we understand that the world is a big place, we don’t fully grasp just how huge the world is.

Fancy vacations. Massive shopping trips. Extravagant birthday parties. The overwhelming pressure to keep up with “The Jones’” has convinced us that we need to spend a ton of money to make memories with our kids. Luckily, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
I’ll be the first to admit that math just isn’t my “thing.” Up until about middle school, it wasn’t so bad, but after that, I just kind of glazed over and didn’t even try to learn what was being taught.
