With 3 kids being homeschooled, we try to keep costs down wherever possible. Finally we found a curriculum that is affordable but doesn’t sacrifice our kids’ education. Not to mention, The Good and The Beautiful has an amazing resell price tag. Unlike other curriculum, it holds it’s value, so I’m able to resell it when I’m done with it.

One of my favorite parts of The Good and The Beautiful is that it isn’t filled with junk. Instead of dictating pointless sentences, students will dictate sentences that are filled with beauty. No longer will kids work with sentences like “The dog is brown.” Instead, they will be filling their minds with good thoughts, like “Put your dishes in the sink.”
Everything from the sentence dictations to the literature are full of kindness, manners, respect and beauty. The Good and The Beautiful gently shows kids a natural and God-filled way of living.

Open & Go:

If you’ve been around here long, you know that one of my top requirements when choosing a curriculum is the ease of use. I am not one of those moms who wants to sit down and plan out each week’s lessons on Mondays. I’m the type of mom who rolls out of bed at 9:30 on Monday morning, throws my hair in a messy bun and stumbles to the table to get started on some school work. I need a curriculum that requires as little as possible from me. Independent & Hands-On:

One thing I didn’t like about Easy Peasy All-In-One Homeschool was that my kids were spending too much time on the computer. After all, if I’m going to be homeschooling them so I can spend more time with them, it doesn’t make much sense for them to be staring at a computer all day. But with The Good and The Beautiful, they can do most of their work by themselves, if they need to. However, there is still plenty of opportunity for me to jump in and enjoy some quality time with them.
