Grade nine. We’ve finally made it. Over the years, I never thought my kids would grow so quickly. Now, my oldest is starting high school and I’m realizing more and more just how precious my short time with them really is. High school is a scary territory.
Seeing a blood-thirsty, man-eating beast of a shark, shooting through the water towards me with his jaws ready to snap around my panicked body is one of my life-long fears. The other is homeschooling high school.
I’ll be the first to admit that math just isn’t my “thing.” Up until about middle school, it wasn’t so bad, but after that, I just kind of glazed over and didn’t even try to learn what was being taught.
