Save Money with Disney+

When Disney+ burst onto the scene, our family was in heaven! No more expensive movie theaters or overpriced popcorn. It felt like a dream-come-true for our tight budget but did you know you can also save money with Disney+!?!

It’s true! The streaming service has made binge-watching a game-changer in our home! We’re able to watch some of the greatest movies ever made, without even leaving our house!

I never knew you could save money with Disney+! This is so awesome!!!

How We Save Money with Disney+

Having young kids, it’s hard to find quality entertainment that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg! But our family actually SAVES money with our Disney+ subscription! Here’s how:

Stream the Classics:

Before Disney+, our family was renting movies from the lone surviving video store in our area. The prices aren’t cheap, as video stores struggle to stay in business but I didn’t want my kiddos to miss out on classic Disney movies. Since we’ve had our Disney+ subscription, we’ve watched classic movies like The Fox and the Hound, 101 Dalmatians, Aladdin and Mulan.

Not only do we get to watch all of the movies that were previously locked up in the Disney vault, but we also get access to some of our childhood favorites, like Hannah Montana, Victorious, Wizards of Waverly Place and Shake It Up.

Not to mention, we’re making our way through all the Marvel movies, too!

Save on Snacks:

Going to the theater isn’t cheap! Tickets for our family of 5 plus the cost of snacks at the concession cost about $75 per trip! That’s a lot of money when you’re on a tight budget.

The same snacks that cost $4 a box at the theaters can be picked up for just a buck at your local stores. For about $15, our family can create a smorgasbord of snacks and sugary drinks at home! That’s a fraction of what we would spend at the theater.

Stay Home:

Let’s be real: Going out isn’t all it’s cracked out to be! With a subscription to Disney+, you can snuggle up on your comfy couch, in your pj’s, with your favorite soft blanket!

Build a blanket fort and watch movies!

Snuggle up in bed and enjoy a movie from the comfort of your bed.

The truth is, staying home to watch movies isn’t just easier on your pocketbook, it’s easier on mom, too! No need to wake the kids when they fall asleep mid-movie! Just leave them on the couch and head to bed.

How to Save on Your Disney+ Subscription

It’s no secret that you’ll save money by skipping the theater but did you know you can also save some cash on your Disney+ subscription!?! That’s right!

It’s already super affordable, at about $12 a month but when you use Slickdeals, you can save even more on your subscription!

If you are looking for an affordable way to entertain your kiddos, you’ve gotta try these tricks that help us save money with Disney+!

I never knew you could save money with Disney+! This is so awesome!!!
