The link to our exclusive subscriber library will come in your welcome email and will allow you to download our Netflix Cheat Sheet and all other freebies!

Easy peasy, baby!

First things first:

Laminate It:

I chose to laminate my pages but in years past, I’ve simply stuck them in protective pages. Either way works great!

Write It:

My kids use dry erase markers to write on our notebooks and when I check them, I wipe them clean.  In an instant, they’re ready for the next day.  Just a word of warning, though: Some days, you’ll want to snap a photo of their prayer lists, drawings or other more personal pages. You don’t want to forget some of the silly or sweet things they’ll write in this book!

Use It:

You may not want to use every page included in the download and that’s perfectly fine! The awesome part about printable daily notebooks is that you can customize them to your child’s needs! Simply print the pages you need right now and save the rest for later. You can also arrange the pages however you wish! Some pages go together better but do what works for you.

Ever ask yourself "Should I homeschool?" The answer is simple.

Should I Homeschool?

You’ve reached that point. You know that public school isn’t working but you’re not sure you’re cut out to homeschool. Just thinking about homeschooling has you shakin’ in your boots.

There is no doubt that making the leap from public school to homeschooling is one of the scariest things you’ll  ever do.  I researched it hardcore for months, spending literally hours a day reading about anything homeschool related.  Yet I am somehow still not an expert and likely never will be.

In those months of preparation for the upcoming complete lifestyle change, I read about curriculums, schedules, how to set up a classroom, the importance of socialization and the latest educational gear.  What I didn’t read about were the hard days, the days I would second-guess myself, the days I would want to pull my hair out and hang my kids on the clothesline by their toenails.  No, no one tells us about these days.  But the truth is, these days are small in comparison to the good days.

I also didn’t read about how much closer my family would become, how my girls would be each other’s best friends, how we would slowly become interested in new hobbies, how we could never plan well enough to avoid the curve balls of life, how Mom sets the mood for the day or how we would be making memories all day, everyday. Nope, no one tells you all about the good stuff about homeschooling.

Now that I have a couple of  years of {incredibly successful} 😉 homeschooling under my belt, I have one big tip.  This is the advice I give anyone thinking about homeschooling.  This tip goes to the mom who has Google’d everything she needs to homeschool and to the mom who is just beginning to mull it over in her mind but is still too scared to even discuss it with anyone else. It goes to the parents who lay awake at night wondering “Should I homeschool?”

So, just one piece of advice must mean that it’s a pretty spectacular chunk of knowledge, right? Well, kinda. But it’s something I wish someone had told me all those years ago. When I was sending my kids away to a place where no one will ever love them as much as me. To a place where the wrong kind of “socialization” was taking place. To that place where their friends were on their side until they just weren’t anymore.
Yes, it’s one peice of pretty solid advice to anyone wondering “Should I homeschool?”

Do It Yourself Homeschool Journal

Homeschooling can be tough.

New babies, moving, family health crisis, or just a busy season of life can derail your homeschool in a flash. But those times are inevitable. You will eventually hit a crazy point in life, where homeschooling is pushed to the back burner. Mom will need to spend less time preparing lesson plans and more time taking care of other business. And that’s okay.  Life happens and no matter how prepared you are, it’ll throw you for a loop.

We've got one little secret that guarantees you'll be more present with your kids TODAY! Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose.

Be More Present

You see it everywhere you go.

Moms staring at their phones at the playgrounds. Kids gazing out the window at the local restaurant while their parents check their email. Dads looking at their phones as their son makes the game winning shot.
Of course, parents don’t intend to get so engulfed in technology that they miss the tiny, yet so important moments of life.
It’s too easy to get caught up in social media when the” 2-second glance” at your email quickly turns into 30 minutes. Before long, you’re spending every spare second peeking at your phone. In doctor’s offices, while waiting on your food, even in the restroom. {Admit it! You do this!}

Not only are you missing out on the little moments in life, but you’re modeling your kids’ future behaviors.

When they are old enough, they will look at their phones instead of you.

How will that make you feel?

Personally, I don’t want to find out.

So let’s kick this vicious cycle today!

We've got one little secret that guarantees you'll be more present with your kids TODAY! Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose.

LuLaRoe for Moms?

LuLaRoe for Moms? Uh, duh.

Last summer, my sister started wearing some funky pants.

She’d show up at my house in these wild leggings or a T-shirt that was covered in vibrant patterns.

A crazy, yet adorable, pair of leggings with paper airplanes on them had me curious.  Why was my sister, whose wardrobe held hardly  anything but black or grey, suddenly fallen in love with clothes that scream for attention?

Is LuLaRoe appropriate for moms? Is there an actual age-limit on these crazy-adorable super-soft leggings? If so, I'm tossing caution to the wind and going with what my booty is telling me is best. :D

Turns out, she’d signed up to be a LuLaRoe consultant.

Living in Missouri means that Mother Nature is moody. It’s not rare to turn on your heater and air conditioner in the same day. Between frigid winter days and steaming summertime, some days it’s hard to get outside to release some energy. Lucky for us, we live in a time where You Tube can save our sanity.

While most smart TVs an stream YouTube with ease, you an also catch videos on your “not-so-smart” older TV. There are several ways to make that happen. Whether you choose to stream through your gaming system, fierce PC or a Roku, it’s easier than ever.

Plenty of YouTubers have seen the dire need for exercise videos geared toward children. They’ve created homeschool PE channels, dance party channels and more!
