4 E-Learning Apps You Can’t Miss!

What are the best E-learning apps for homeschooling kids?

The Covid pandemic has thrown our lives into turmoil, with many people working from home and children across the world out of education. At a time when learning from your own digital devices is mandatory, you may have been considering downloading an E-learning app to support your kids with their schoolwork, or making the switch to homeschooling altogether.

E-learning apps are typically made with a reactive native developer. You can learn more about how to create an educational website or learning management system here: https://stormotion.io/blog/how-to-create-an-educational-website-or-a-learning-management-system/

4 Awesome E-Learning Apps for Homeschoolers

Nanny Louenna

The Nanny Louenna app was launched by Norland Nanny Louenna Hood. The app is “designed to answer all of your parenting questions”, according to Nanny Louenna’s website – and it also contains educational tools that your kids can benefit from if you’re homeschooling. There are more than 150 activity ideas on the app. It has everything from reading and writing to learning journals, colour recognition, and more. It’s free to view some of the app’s content, but you’ll need to pay £4.99 per month or £24.99 per year to get access to all the educational content.

Edplus

Edplus is a fun app that offers TikTok-style content to test your childrens’ brains without them even knowing it. The app is available on Android and iOS. It covers topics such as maths (including times tables), science, geography, English, and even languages such as French, German and Spanish. It’s aimed at people of all ages, too. There’s no reason why you can’t use the app to educate yourself on your preferred subject when the kids have gone to bed! The first free topics in the app are free, but after that, you’ll need to earn or pay for credits to unlock the rest.

Gimi

If you don’t think there’s enough focus on financial education for children, you’ll love Gimi. No, this app won’t be useful for generally teaching your kids their spellings and times-tables. It can help them to establish a healthy relationship with money from a young age, though. The app is designed for children aged 7 and over. It offers animated videos on the topics of spending, saving and earning. The app also allows you to schedule pocket money in advance. Gimi is free to use, though you have to subscribe if you want to order your child their own bank card.

EasyA

Homeschooling older children can be particularly challenging. Older children are likely learning subjects that are too difficult for you to get your head around. If your child needs a little extra one-on-one support, EasyA connects pupils with Oxbridge maths tutors. You know they’re the real deal – with secure instant app messaging and a virtual whiteboard for drawing out diagrams. EasyA works on a pay-as-you-go basis, plus a £10.00 monthly membership fee. You can find out more about the app’s pricing here.
