A Girl and Her Dog Printable

It didn’t take long for my girl to latch on her new puppy and declare him her new best friend. In fact, as the years went on, she spent more and more time with him. From exploring the outdoors together to going for rides in her daddy’s truck, there wasn’t much they didn’t do together. But then one day, his time with us was up. Without much warning, my girl was heartbroken.

This free puppy printable is exactly what our home needed! A gentle reminder that dogs can change our lives! #dogprintables #puppy #printables #puppyfreebies

I’ll never forget the last time I came home to him. He bounded up to my car as I pulled in the driveway. As my youngest girl hopped out of the car, his tail began to wag and I swear he was smiling. I laughed at the sight of his goofy face, so happy to see his girl.

The next day, he was gone. Just like that. Without much warning, he slipped away and left a hole in my girl’s heart. But there’s something different about my girl now. She knows what it’s like to love something (or someone) so deeply. She understands that dogs are just a part of our lives, but we are literally their entire life. And she treasures her time with her other pups. While they will never hold a candle to her beloved first dog, she loves them with a passion that I love to see!
